These General Contracting Terms are applied to all commercial transactions carried out via Get Locally e.U., with the commercial register number FN 383736 v, a company legally constituted in Austria to provide restaurant, shopping and nightlife tours in Vienna and to facilitate sightseeing tours with certified local tour guides.
These Terms govern all bookings made (either through the Get Locally website or otherwise) with Get Locally e.U. By accepting these General Contracting Terms you are accepting them on behalf of all members of your party.
1. Services Provided
Get Locally, http://www.getlocally.net, is dedicated to the sales of individualized and tailor-made guided Tours to local shops, restaurants, nightlife to help tourists discovering the City of Vienna through the eyes of Viennese residents. Get Locally also facilitates sightseeing tours with certified Tour Guides.
2. Content and information provided on the Website
Get Locally, http://www.getlocally.net, reserves the right to modify the commercial offer shown on the website (modifications to tours, prices, promotions and other commercial and service conditions) at any time.
Get Locally makes every effort within its means to provide the information contained on the website in such a way that this information is as up-to-date as possible. In the event of an error beyond the control of Get Locally, the error will be corrected as soon as possible. In the event of typographical error in any of the prices shown and on which a Client has based their purchase decision, Get Locally shall inform the Client of the error and the Client will have the right to rescind said purchase at no cost to the client.
3. Sales System
Clients can choose different ways of making a purchase:

- by contacting Get Locally directly, via the contact page, by email or phone
- Hotel Reception
- Travel Agency
4. Applicable Taxes
The prices of the product shown on the website http://www.getlocally.com include value added tax (VAT), where applicable (20%).
5. Payment Method
When booking a Tour, the Client shall follow the purchasing process and complete the obligatory fields; if you have any doubts, see the detailed purchasing-process instructions below the date field; you must check the field accepting these General Contracting Terms and in order to pay for your purchase by bank transfer.
6. Purchasing Policies
Any bookings made or orders placed by you shall be deemed to be an offer by you to purchase the relevant Tour. No contract between you and Get Locally e.U. shall come into existence until Get Locally e.U.:
a. issues a booking confirmation by email,
b. receives payment in full.
Payment in full is required at the time of booking. Payment should be made through the Get Locally website by bank transfer. Where Get Locally is unable to confirm the initial requested Tour an alternative may be provided and an email notification will be sent to inform you of the details. Prices are shown in Euro. You agree to be financially responsible for all transactions made through Get Locally.
Get Locally e.U. reserves the right to charge a service fee for all tour requests exceeding the price of 500,- Euros if the request is not followed by the booking of the tour with Get Locally.
7. Cancellation and Amendment Policies
For Tours cancellation charges will be applied in relation to the notice period between notification of cancellation and the date the service is due to commence.
Notice period Charges
0 – 48 hours prior to date of Tour start – 100% charges
2 – 7 days prior to date of Tour start – 50% charges
8 days or more to date of Tour start – 0% charges
Changes to bookings such as the decrease of number of persons less than 24 hours prior to the date of the Tour – 100% charges regarding the missing person.
Should the number of persons of the booked tour decrease to 1 person, Get Locally will charge the prices of an individual tour for one person. Changes to booked tour packages will be accepted less than 24 hours prior to the date of the Tour with a surcharge fee of 50% of the booked tour price.
Also note that bookings of the Vienna Suggestions’ Package cannot be cancelled once they are purchased.
8. Responsibilities of Client
Clients of Get Locally undertake at all times to provide true information regarding the data requested in the user registration forms or when placing an order, and to keep these data up-to-date at all times. You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. All bookings are personal to you and may not be sold, assigned or otherwise transferred. Clients state information prior to the Tour regarding any hindrances or health concerns (e.g. dietary restrictions) with the booking of the Tour. Get Locally will not be held responsible regarding these concerns.
Clients accept all the provisions and Terms contained in these General Contracting Terms and understand that they include the intention to provide the best possible service for the type of activity developed by Get Locally.
Clients acknowledge that consumption, purchases at shops and tips are not included in the Tour price. These are at your discretion.
Clients travelling with special needs:
If any member of your party is travelling with a wheelchair or requires any other special facilities, please do not hesitate to contact us to confirm that any special requirements are possible. In case so, Get Locally may also facilitate Tour Guides according to the needs of the Client.
9. Important Information regarding Get Locally’s Services
Get Locally reserves the right to ask any person or persons to withdraw from any Tour if they deem their acts or conduct offensive or nuisance to other persons and there shall be no further liability. Get Locally declines any responsibility for articles forgotten or lost in vehicles, at shops, restaurants and nightlife locations. Pick up times from hotels and duration of all tours are approximate and may be subject to traffic conditions.
Where it is necessary to cancel the Tour due to sickness of the tour guide or similar, you will be offered at least one of the following options:
- to receive a Tour by different Tour Guide,
- to receive a Tour at an alternative time or at alternative date,
- to transfer your Tour to another acquaintance travelling to Vienna at a later time to Vienna,
- to receive full refund from Get Locally.
We do not share any information with third parties, but we would like to hold your information, where collected by us, for our own future marketing purposes (for example to inform you of promotional offers or to send you our brochures). If you do not wish to receive such approaches in the future, please inform us as soon as possible.

Information about our programs (including prices and travel details) may be featured on other websites operated by travel agents and other organizations. Please note that we do not accept responsibility or liability for any advice given to you on any website which is not operated and maintained by ourselves.
Get Locally recommends that before booking your Tour you check our website for the most up-to-date information in relation to the Tour you have chosen.
Failure or Delay beyond Get Locally’s control
Get Locally shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of its obligations which results directly or indirectly from any cause or circumstance which is beyond its reasonable control. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the following shall be regarded as such circumstances: acts of God, outbreak of hostilities, riot, war, civil disturbance, acts of terrorism, nuclear disaster, revolution, the act of any governmental authority or agency (including but not limited to refusal or revocation of any license or consent), fire, flood, lightning, explosion, fog or bad weather, sickness, pilferage, breakdown of machinery, interruption or failure of a utility service (including but not limited to electricity, gas, water or telecommunications), renovations undertaken by the hotel, labor disputes, strikes, lockouts or boycotts, embargo, blockade.
Get Locally assumes no responsibility for, and shall not be liable for damages to, or viruses that may infect, your computer equipment or other property on account of your access to, use of, or browsing in this site or your downloading of any materials, data, text, images, video or audio from the site. IN NO EVENT SHALL GET LOCALLY OR ANY THIRD PARTY PROVIDERS OR DISTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INJURY, LOSS, CLAIM, DAMAGE, OR ANY SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS OR LOST SAVINGS) WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, WHICH ARISE OUT OF OR IS ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH (1) ANY USE OF THIS SITE OR CONTENT FOUND HEREIN, (2) ANY FAILURE OR DELAY INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE ANY COMPONENT OF THIS SITE FOR RESERVATIONS OR TICKETING, OR (3) THE PERFORMANCE OR NONPERFORMANCE BY GET LOCALLY OR ANY THIRD PARTY PROVIDER OR DISTRIBUTOR. 10. General Information – Planning your Holiday
Safety standards may vary from country to country and may not reach the same level of those enjoyed by you in your home country, although all properties comply with applicable local and/or national health and safety laws, etc. Monitoring and enforcement of such are subject to the regulations of each country. We therefore advise clients to take all reasonable precautions whilst on holiday and, in particular, to familiarize yourself with health and travel insurance possibilities. Our staff is not qualified to advise you in detail about insurance cover and any specific queries should be addressed to an insurance broker.
